Ashlie Brown
Ashlie Brown is the HPOA’s Office Manager and has worked for the HPOA since 2016. In addition to managing the day-to-day operations at the HPOA, Ashile is often asked to sing at events throughout Miami-Dade County. She graduated from Miami Culinary Institute with degrees in Culinary Management, Chef Apprenticeship, and Culinary Arts. Ashlie is an avid baker and enjoys creating desserts for the HPOA events. Ashlie is married to Miami-Dade Police Officer Josh Brown. She is the daughter of HPOA President Emeritus David Jaramillo and is of Cuban, Colombian, and Irish descent.
Stephanie M. Womble, Communications Director
Stephanie M. Womble serves as the HPOA’s Communications Director. She is a veteran communications professional with extensive experience in public affairs, political strategy, strategic messaging, content development, crisis communication management, and media relations.
Stephanie is the founder of Womble Media Group, a consultancy dedicated to developing successful communication and marketing strategies for clients from diverse industries.
She is also a partner in The BIG50, LLC, which hosts a premier law enforcement leadership training seminar that brings together the best, brightest, and most influential police labor organization leaders in North America and abroad. The annual seminar is a think tank for leaders and addresses issues facing the law enforcement profession.
Stephanie attended Florida International University, where she studied Journalism & Mass Communications. She’s completed a certificate in Digital Marketing: Customer Engagement, Social Media & Customer Engagement from Columbia Business School. Stephanie is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Miami-Dade County.
