The HPOA is committed to supporting education and our youth. The HPOA awards scholarships to dependent children of HPOA members who are in good standing, current on membership dues, or members who have retired in good standing and were members for a minimum of four years.

It is preferable that the applicants’ career objectives and degrees focus on law enforcement, law, corrections, or any other aspect of criminal justice. However, unrelated course majors are eligible. Recipients must be attending a regionally accredited college or university starting the Fall term.

The HPOA’s scholarship program has assisted many of our members’ children assisting them in achieving their dreams and making our community a better place.
