The HPOA and the HPOA Foundation have a rich history of giving back to our community by helping those who are most vulnerable. In 2008, the Hispanic Police Officers Association Foundation, a 501(c)(3), was established. Through this Foundation, the HPOA provides assistance to officers recovering from illness or injury and provides support to the families of officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. But our mission goes beyond those wearing the badge.

Each year, we provide scholarships to deserving students, award our Florida Prepaid college raffle winners, and host a series of community-centered events, such as our Valentine’s Day Gala to honor our Officer of the Year, our annual Family Picnic, and our community outreach programs such as our annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, and our Christmas Toy Drive. Additionally, the HPOA Foundation supports a variety of charities like those listed below.
